My work with trees and woodlands is driven by a desire to connect with wild spaces in a world increasingly disconnected from nature. In the crowded, built up place that this island has become it is a relief to be able to lose myself within the woods and my photographs are an attempt both to represent that space and to better understand and experience my relationship with the wild.
On this website is a selection from different projects I have shot over the past year. All the photographs were taken in Cornwall, the majority of them within walking distance of my home in Penryn.
